Fees

In a perfect world, I would be able to offer my services for free; however, since I'm not independently wealthy, nor do I have any rich uncles, I need to charge for my services. My rates are in line with the market and are determined by looking at other clinicians in the area with similar levels of education and experience. The fees that I charge are meant to cover my education and business expenses and compensate for my labor in creating space for our work together and guiding my clients toward healing.

My base rate is $150 per 45-50 minute session. There is a $25 administrative fee for the first session to cover the work required for onboarding new clients. 

Reduced Rates I know that while my rates are market standard, they can be a significant expense for people. I am a counselor to help people, not to get rich; therefore, I do offer a limited number of reduced rates for clients with demonstrated financial need. We will discuss fees in our initial session, and we'll revisit the reduced rate status every six months. 

Payment

Payment is required at the time of service, and all payments will be processed through SimplePractice - the software suite I use to manage my practice. I require all clients to keep a credit or debit card on file, and the card on file will be charged overnight after your session. 

Insurance

I am a self-pay practice meaning that I do not bill or accept any insurance plans. However, I will provide the necessary paperwork that you would provide to your insurer to file a claim based on your benefit schedule. Please contact your insurance carrier to determine the information you will need to file this claim.
